This seminar is built around a series of labs in which you are taught techniques used to hack a system and then protect the same system. The premise of the workshop is simple: your need to understand today's security threats, you need to know how hackers identify and exploit your organization's vulnerabilities, and you need to know what you can do to eliminate those vulnerabilities. You will learn what you should do and what the hacker is doing before, during and after the hack. As each exploit technique is taught, you will perform the task individually and then you will implement and test an appropriate countermeasure.
